I loved this hostel!! A great location and I felt very COVID safe (something I didn’t realize how fortunate I was with this hostel until I arrived to my next stay in a different city) :-) Rooms are clean with great air circulation and the staff is kind.
One of the best hostels I have been to. The staff was encredibly friendly and helpful and they gave a lot of info on what there is to do in the city. The rooms were very nice and every bed had its own curtain, reading licht, socket and even a private ventilator! Both the beds and the rooms were also very clean and were cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis.
A very cozy and nice place! The hostel is located very centrally close to the metro and a lot of restaurants and stores
The staff was very friendly and kept the place clean and gladly recommended activities and restaurants in the nearby area
They have a well-equiped modern kitchen
Also loved their garden with the hammocks
The only thing that could have been better is that they could have more toilets for the dorms, my dorm (8 beds) only had one toilet with a shower
I would definitely visit again
I visited Porto during this weird covid time, so it's difficult to give it a fair reference, comparing this experience with older pre-covid experiences. I cannot say anything to a vibe or atmosphere of the hostel as it was very empty and anyway, you don't want so socialise too much. I felt super covid-safe there though.
The facilities were amazing, I appreciated the cleanliness, also very friendly and helpful staff!
I definitely recommend it.
It’s a little off the center, but you can walk there in a few mins.
Beds were super comfy, had a reading light, plug ins, a little shelf and a curtain which I personally love. The only downside of the room was that the floor was super squeaky, so you heard when someone was walking to the bathroom during the night.
Breakfast was simple, but enough.
I don’t think that the athmosphare is the best for solo travelers, but overall we loved our stay.
It was overall a nice Hostel. The athmosphere was a bit impersonal and there where no free breakfast or other event where you could easily meet other people.
The bathroom was on suite so there was no other place to go besides a small bathroom in the garden when it was occupied.
Also there where many people for working.
Good location, clean facilities and organized environment. If you’re afraid of going to a hostel in the middle of a pandemic this is the place for you, staff follows strictly the rules, not allowing any guests to stay inside without wearing a mask (even if you’re the only person around), tests on check-in, etc.
I didn’t liked the fact that common areas close at midnight and you really cannot stay anywhere else besides your bed, not even in the garden to smoke a cigarette, that’s why I left.
I had contacted the hostel to organize a late check in, however, the staff did not leave out the key for me so I had to wait a while and had to wake up the other staff member (which I felt bad about) to be able to check in. He was very lovely but this was avoidable.
